Come to Poughkeepsie next weekend to help the Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church celebrate all things Hellenic at their amazing Greek Festival! Every year, this event brings the area together for several days of Greek food, music, and culture. The 2018 festival runs June 14-17, so clear out your calendar and get ready for all things Greek!
For over 40 years, the Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church has worked tirelessly to help bring the best of Greek culture to the Mid-Hudson Valley. Starting June 14, you can enjoy four days of delicious Gyros, Spanakopita, Moussaka, Baklava, Kataifi, and many other Greek dishes! Plus, the festival will be filled with plenty of music and dancing. You can even purchase souvenirs at the church bookstore and go on a tour of the beautiful church!
This year, the Poughkeepsie Greek Festival is teaming up with the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie to help this great local organization! Part of the proceeds of the event will go toward helping the Children's Home provide services to children, youth, and their families within our community.
It's all happening outside the church at 54 Park Avenue in Poughkeepsie. The festival will be open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, through Saturday, June 16 and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 17.
