Each year, the local branch of The Order Sons of Italy in America, the Joe DiMaggio Lodge, hosts an open event for the community to celebrate the heritage of our area's many proud people of Italian descent. For 2018, the festival will run over Memorial Day weekend, starting on Thursday, May 24 and ending on Sunday, May 27. All the fun will be happening at East Fishkill Recreation in Hopewell Junction!
Parking and admission to the Italian Festival are completely free! The gates open at 6 p.m. on the 24th and 25th and at 2 p.m. on the 26th and 27th. The festival will be open until 10 p.m. on each of the four days.
Attendees will be able to enjoy great food, including sausage and pepper sandwiches, funnel cakes, Italian doughnuts, hamburgers, and much more! Plus, there will be tons of rides, over a dozen craft vendors, and a different live musical act on each day! As the event's grand finale, there will be an amazing fireworks display on Sunday night!
